The market research you actually need before you launch

Market sizing, competitor and pricing reads, and the demand question, built for a founder deciding in Saudi Arabia rather than for a report shelf.

Fixed, published prices. Concept Diagnostic: Free · Campaign Pulse (Campaign Brief): SAR 3,500 · Strategy Refinement (Refinement Memo): SAR 12,000 · Concept Architect (Full Playbook): SAR 39,000 · Bespoke: Priced to scope. All prices exclude 15% VAT, and any paid tier can be split 50/50.

What research a launch actually needs

Founders are usually sold either far too much research or far too little. Before a launch in Saudi Arabia, four questions carry almost all of the decision, and the rest is decoration.

How many of your exact customers are reachable, in the city and district you are actually opening in. What they pay today for the thing you intend to replace. Who already serves them, at what price, and where they are weak. And what the regulation, the seasonality and the calendar do to your demand across a year. Answer those four with evidence and you can price, size and decide. Leave one unanswered and the plan rests on a confident guess.

How we research

We work from sources we name: published market and sector data, regulator and authority publications, comparable operators in the Kingdom and the region, pricing that is publicly observable, and the platform signals that indicate real demand rather than interest. Every figure that matters carries where it came from, and the study separates what we verified from what we estimated.

There are limits, and we state them. We do not run field surveys, panels or primary interviews, and we never present a modelled number as a measured one. If your decision turns on primary fieldwork, we will tell you to hire a fieldwork house.

Choosing a market research company in Saudi Arabia

Three checks separate research you can act on from a document that reads well. Ask where each number comes from, and whether you can open the source yourself. Ask what the research is allowed to conclude: a study that cannot come back negative is marketing. And ask who signs it, by name, and what happens if the answer is inconvenient.

Price transparency is the fourth. A firm that will not quote until it has qualified your budget is pricing you, not the work. Our figures are published above, they are the same for every client, and the scope attached to each one does not move after you order.

Any sector, and the free first step

Our record runs deepest in sport, entertainment, experiential and lifestyle, and that is not the boundary of the work: the diagnostic assesses a concept in any sector, and paid engagements run across food and beverage, hospitality, retail, real estate, tech, healthcare, education, manufacturing and every other sector we cover.

Start with the free Concept Diagnostic. Describe the idea in under two minutes and a straight read on it reaches you within 24–48 hours, with a sealed Proof of Origin for your concept. Common questions

I'm launching a new business in Saudi Arabia. What market research do I need?

Four things, before anything else: the reachable size of your exact customer segment in your specific city, what those customers pay today, who already serves them and at what price, and how regulation and seasonality move demand across the year. Everything else is optional until those four are answered. The free Concept Diagnostic gives you a first read on all four for your own idea within 24–48 hours.

How do I choose a market research company in Saudi Arabia?

Ask four questions before you sign. Can I open the source behind each number myself? Is this research allowed to conclude that the idea does not hold? Who signs it off, by name? And what is the price, before you know my budget? A provider that answers all four plainly is worth talking to, whoever it is.

Do you run surveys, focus groups or field interviews?

No. We work from named, checkable sources and operator judgement, and we label estimates as estimates. If a decision genuinely depends on primary fieldwork, we will tell you that a fieldwork house is what you need rather than sell a substitute for it.

How is this different from a feasibility study?

Market research answers what is true out there: the size, the competitors, the prices, the demand. A feasibility study takes that evidence and answers whether your specific venture should exist, with the economics, the risks and a go or no-go. Research is an input; the study is the decision. Most founders who ask for the first are deciding something that needs the second.

Do you only work in sports and entertainment?

No. Those are the sectors where our track record runs deepest, not the limit of what we assess. The free diagnostic reads a concept in any sector, and paid engagements cover food and beverage, hospitality, retail, real estate, tech, fintech, financial services, healthcare, education, manufacturing, energy and more. Where a venture sits outside our core sectors, the expert who signs it off is chosen for yours.

The first step is free and takes under two minutes — a straight viability read on your idea, within 24–48 hours.
